Global disruption

The headroom of our consumerist society is microscopic. The globalisation of supply chains leads not only to inhuman working conditions elsewhere, but the global just-in-time economy is susceptible to the smallest disruptions.
The Rhine region as a central transport axis of the alpine corridor is a land of connections, of traffic, of interactions. Transfer sites like the port of Basel easily become bottlenecks in global supply chains.
This 3land release is exploring the acoustic relevance of the global transportation exigence of our consumption lifestyle and an ever-growing economy.
